Info: On Thursday, Dec. 1st, 2011, Monroe County Heritage Museum will host the 4th Annual Fruitcake Festival, inspired by Truman Capote’s heart-warming story, A Christmas Memory. Locally made fruitcakes in specially designed tins will be for sale all day, followed by a special theatrical performance at 7:00 pm in the world-famous courtroom of the Old Courthouse Museum. Tickets to the event are $25 and include a holiday reception…with fruitcake, of course!
