Info: ArtsRevive is pleased to sponsor the Alabama Tale-Tellin’ Festival for the first time this year. Now more than three decades old, the festival that was begun by the late Kathryn Tucker Windham is moving to the terrace by the riverbank at Carneal ArtsRevive (Water Avenue and Church Street). Join the magic Friday, Oct. 14 and Saturday Oct. 15 as nationally known tale tellers Anndrena Belcher and Wanda Johnson share their stories and The Dill Pickers String Band entertain with music and songs. Storytelling begins at 7 each evening, but come on down at 5:30 and join the Swappin’ Ground where everybody can be a storyteller! Concessions will be available too!
